Ira O'Nellious Curry was born on March 14, 1989, in Bay Springs, Mississippi. He is the youngest of four children from a working-class African-American family that lived in a three-bedroom house. His mom, Tressie Curry, worked in a chicken factory before becoming a nurse, and his dad, Ira G. Curry, was a carpenter. Ira has two brothers and a sister.

At 17, he dropped out of high school against his family's wishes but later earned his GED at 20 and started college in 2009. Ira graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the age of 23, focusing on Computer Information Systems, in just three years in August 2012.

After graduating in 2012, Ira started his career as a Management Trainee at a well-known rental car company in 2013. By 2014, he joined the management team and worked at various rental locations. In 2015, he transitioned to the car sales division as an Account Executive.

In 2016, Ira became the Senior Account Executive for South Houston Operations. By 2017, he was promoted to Assistant Sales Manager and Finance Manager, and in 2018, he was named Senior Finance Manager, where he developed the company's car sales division.

In 2018, Ira left his job at a rental company and started Enginenear Credit Repair in Houston, TX as Founder. He shared that he knew he was being called to move from being an employee to becoming an employer.

With just a few employees working from his home, Ira's company quickly grew into one of the internet's fastest-growing businesses, making six figures in six months and on track to earn a million dollars. 

Thanks to this success, after speaking to over eight hundred business owners at his first ever speaking engagement in 2019, Ira soon became a highly sought-after Business Consultant.

In 2020, Ira moved to Charlotte, NC, where he worked as a Business Consultant at Ira Curry Consulting and Business Coach at Ira Curry Coaching. He often says in interviews that he was "sent back on an assignment."

Ira went on to travel the world, helping hundreds of entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Over 20 individuals he worked closely with were able to quit their 9-to-5 jobs and become full-time entrepreneurs thanks to his leadership at that time.

Later in 2020, Ira relocated to San Diego to launch the Ira Curry Leadership Academy as a Community Coach. In May 2021, he founded the Exec Club Association as a Group Coach, and in December 2021, he established the Ira Curry Organization as a General Coach, transforming the lives of hundreds more.

In 2021, Ira retired from traveling to create his all-in-one platform to help induvial start and grow their coaching businesses, aiming to help them achieve the same success he had experienced. Coachman, his all-in-one platform, launched November 1, 2022 with Ira as Head Coach. 

Ira began working on Coachman in 2019, describing it as the most challenging project and period of his life. He spent years working behind the scenes before he could finally launch Coachman. Despite many difficulties and setbacks, Coachman went on to become his most successful company, surpassing all his previous ventures in impact and revenue. 

Following the launch of Coachman on November 1, 2022, Ira was recruited to appear on several podcasts and internet TV shows to promote Coachman, leading to his rise to fame and his journey to becoming a Celebrity Coach in 2023. Ira says it was his destiny to create Coachman, and that destiny never comes without a fight.

From 2023 to now, Ira has been developing Ira Curry Holdings as Executive Chairman, the parent company of his eight businesses. This is a 10-year project expected to be completed by 2033.

Today, Ira Curry owns and operates 8 privately held organizations under the Ira Curry Holdings umbrella while living in Los Angeles, California of the United States of America overseeing his 8 companies.

In a recent interview, Ira told his fans that his resilience, faith, and determination, along with taking a leap of faith from corporate America, gave him the chance to build and take possession of his Promise Land. 

Aside from business, Ira Curry has a very big distinct fanbase, which can be understood as a social group. Ira has now officially begun referring to his fans as "Tribe." The term "Tribe" is used to describe any Ira Curry fans.

During the summer of 2022, he first started to use the name during his live speaking engagement to refer to his fans. The name fits them well because his fan base come together to support him in "all that he does," like a real tribe does.

Ira Curry is mostly known for his gift of coaching, speaking, wisdom, revelation and faith. 

He is most notably called the "King of Business" and the "Greatest Speaker of All Time." Over the years, Ira has founded 8 companies and has built an empire that has attracted audiences throughout the world. 

He believes that Christ is the mastermind behind all of his success.
